I get this question all the time from students and athletes who train with us. Some are looking for an edge and some are looking for a magic potion to help them reach their performance goals. My answer is always; of course I do, but they are virtually useless unless you put in the work!
Supplementation is not only useful but necessary to reach your peak performance. But there is a catch… you must do the work. There is no magic pill or supplement that will get you to peak performance or make you drop twenty pounds. It just doesn’t work like that!
When added properly to diet, exercise and training, supplementation will yield incredible results and get you that edge that you are looking for. Again, you must put in the work!
The next question is always, what supplements do you take? Over the years I have taken so many different supplements from many different manufacturers. I will tell you that not all supplements are created equal.
In the United States, supplement companies are not regulated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Not that the FDA always approves the best products or puts out the best recommendations, because that is certainly not the case. My point is that if you’re using supplements look past the marketing schemes and research the company.
Find out where the products are manufactured, how they are manufactured and what the ingredients are actually in the products.. Make sure you know what you are putting into your body. It is important for both performance, results and health.
I personally use 1st Phorm for all my supplements. They have a great reputation and produce a phenomenal product. I have included a list of the supplements that I use and a link to 1st Phorm’s website. I use them all and get amazing results, but do the research yourself and you will see.
Also, if you only try only one of my recommendations, get the post workout stack… It’s a gamechanger and it tastes great, especially the CTC!
As always, if you have any questions, would like to know more about supplements, when I take them and why, please email me at [email protected].
